Outreach Emergency Shelter for Women
Is a 70 bed emergency shelter offering specialized services to women and transgender individuals eighteen years of age or older who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. Residents are provided with a safe place and coordinated care by psychiatric nurses, outreach workers and medical professionals. The philosophy is based on providing services in a non-judgmental way and our focus is on creating a healing environment for women. We focus on harm reduction strategies and endeavour to create a sense of community.

Inner City Health Project / Special Care Unit
16 beds dedicated to women with complex health needs who are unable to access mainstream services.
Dorm Specialization
In order to support all clients and maintaining a safe environment, specialized dorms have been created to accommodate women that may be under the influence of a mood altering substance as well as women who cannot access a bed elsewhere.
The Staff Team
The programs are staffed 24-hours a day with additional support from a housing worker, case managers, client care workers, placement students and a management team. The frontline team provide critical support and are the first line of contact with clients seeking assistance. All staff is trained in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Motivational Interviewing, First Aid & CPR, Needle Exchange and Harm Reduction Approaches.
