THIS JUST IN!  A wonderful donation!

Today we had visitors! Lucas Woodward, Elise Woodward, Riley Farrell & Emily Farrell stopped by with a donation of $504.73! The kids ran a lemonde stand to raise money for Shepherds of Good Hope. They had so much dedication, they worked the stand from 11:30am - 6:00pm! We would like to thank these kids immensely, as well as 5 other children from the Pegg family & Gignac family.

THANKS!!!!

THE OAKS IS NOW OPEN!

The Oaks is a partnership between the Shepherds of Good Hope, Inner City Health, and Canadian Mental Health Association. 45 of the units are designated as domiciliary hostel beds under the city of Ottawa. 15 of the domiciliary beds are for 'aging at home' residents. 30 of the beds are for 'Managed Alcohol Residents' and 10 beds are allocated towards CMHA.

There was an open house for the event on June 23, 2010.  The event was a huge success!  Thanks to all who came!  Check out some great photos on Facebook
